I'm using livejournal now, but I don't know if I should make the url public. If yes I have a bit of editting to do. If no, then I will get lonely at the lack of comments there. Hmm.

History Drama. It's over and we got second. ^^ Feeling kinda sad that's it's all over, and like Michelle said, no more
staying late in school and fretting our heads off over stuff. I wonder if we have to present it again to some primary
school? Apparently last year's team did. It *would* be fun though! *bounces* Even though I wasn't THAT involved.
Being a rioter is/was fun. I got quite a kick out of running from nowhere in the audience yelling and brandishing a
sign to the stage. Hah. And the cheers? They really boost your morale. I was running down the steps and suddenly
thinking "Hey! They're cheering US on!" and starting to run faster. Heh. Yah. And I really think that we acted the
best. The best. I'm biased, but ahemweshouldhaveahemwonahem *coughs*. I really thought that if we lost we should lose to VS because they were the only ones who deserved to. Hmm. Seema and Amanda and Siewch were
great! I think that Siewch really looked like the Maria Hertogh in the photos. And we never figured out what longtong
looked like. Hmm. Apparently some TCHS guy mistook Nicola for another tchs student and asked her why her shirt
was grey and her shorts were so long (they were knee-length). I am thinking that that guy must be really, really dense
(and stupid). Never mind.
And I was quite amused by the other schools' plays. Everyone who died always scrambled up frantically and darted to the wings once the spotlights dimmed (Sien and I were commenting on how they might do it gracefully). And I was squirming at the Nanyang Kempeitai. Their drill was...ah, not very good. They were horsekicking backwards and lifting about 5 degrees! *shudder* Never mind.
But RI can really claim the honour of "Most Squirmable", I tell you. For one thing, they were doing a musical. Which equates to a troop of boys stepping forward and warbling offkeyly at random intervals. And it didn't help that there was one scene where a guy was wearing a SIA costume and acting as the main character's wife saying goodbye to him. And that they were holding hands, staring into each other's eyes and calling each other 'my love'. *goes greenfaced* They kissed at the end of the scene and hugged each other. Lmao. The audience was catcalling and squirming. And poor RI didn't even have anything to show for it. Haha. They got a "Merit". (because Consolation sounds bad, and Participation sounds worse) And the main character died. While singing in a battlefield full of his men's corpses (I bet you the guys got a kick out of the fighting scenes) he failed to notice an enemy creeping up on him and got stabbed. Death by singing. What a wonderful way to go. XD

My weekend has been so hectic! And I think those with me can vouch that when the going gets hectic I start to freak
out. Like, really freak out. Darting around squawking and flapping my arms periodically, generally acting like a
chicken. Hah. Friday was crappy. We were cooking (quote Michelle, "Ahhh! I chipped my nail! And I just BUFFED them
last night! Ooooh!") nasi lemak, and the extent to which we watch Holland V became apparent as we started asking
each other if we had any cream soda. Never mind. And we left assembly earlier (thank goodness, the guy was just
droning and Halsall was picking on the sleeping people in my vicinity) to go for Sungei Buloh and conveniently ate our
nasi lemak in the bus. I think Mable ate a substantial amount of acar, because most of us didn't want any of ours.
And creepers are EVIL. You should have seen the scratches all over Emmaline and Sze Min's arms - freaky. And they
hurt. I wasn't that bad, with a few prominent ones and a little bleeding dot. The scar's still there. But the fish feeding
was fun, although we were supposed to be walking around instead of feeding fish. Shh. And there was this guy who
looked so much like Pippin from Lord of the Rings! He had the same face and nose and hairstyle. Except he was tall,
really tall. I hope he didn't figure out it was him we were pointing and giggling about. XD
Hectic weekend. After Sungei Buloh we still had to stay back for History Drama rehearsal, but I guess it was fun. I
reached home around 9.00 pm and slept around 11. Then woke up at 5.30 the next day (yawn) to go to school to meet
Yinghan to put our boots and gb uniform in the Shalom Room and took a cab to Amanda's house. Talk about bustling
hive of activity. Hui Juen apparently went to the wrong house and there was another Amanda there too. :) And she
looked very, very professional (ly scary). The way she strides up to separate the two with this freaky-determined look
on her face! Haha. Sarah Chan looked really power-womanish. What with her business suit and all.
We went back to school for enrollment and I was wearing these shorts and totally white tshirt. Yinghan said the shorts
looked scandalous, Sien said it was good I had "nice" legs (hah. Sien, I still refuse to believe those fats are muscles. I do not have toned legs.) and Debbie said I looked downright weird. *grins* We fairly slunk into the ks chee, I tell you. And I cleverly forgot to bring my cap. Thank God Eunice brought an extra. Sally and I left at 4.30 to go for youth service was good! Good! It was like really 'historic' as the pastor put it, because it was the start of the other service at tct. Sally's flag looked nice, with the purple sequins and the prominent cross. :)

Interestingly enough, my speech for speech and drama is titled "Why we should read X-Men comics". And according to Sze Min, I should deliver it with all the gusto and enthusiasm of an obssessed fangirl. Shouldn't be too hard work. *smirks* And while researching, I came across this totally hilarious site. With one highly amusing list titled "Things We'd Like to See in X-Men". Below are some, ah, entries in the list. Hah.
- The X-Men encounter a new mutant whose only power is to conjure up spitballs out of thin air.
- Psylocke refuses to don her standard costume, complaining that "It's that time of the month again."
- Domino trips.
- Mystique gives up her criminal career and decides to turn her powers for profit as a Hollywood stand-in.
- Anyone, anywhere in a battle decides to shoot first and leave the witty comments for the coffee table discussions afterward.
- Xavier has to close the mansion and kick the X-Men all out onto the streets, insisting that "I'm flat broke, we've got to sell the place."
- The Blackbirds are both down for repair, and the X-Men have to rely on a borrowed Cessna for a few issues.
- Two villains get involved in attacking each other, and the X-Men wait on the sidelines betting on the outcome.
And the best one? Cyclops blasts two enemies at once by looking at them cross-eyed. *cackles maniacally* Maybe I only understand some because I read X-Men. Hmm.

Our school stocks Umbridges! *laughs*
Today for ACE this woman came in and stood very solemnly in front of us. Mable whispered "I think that's the hod of gep" and I whispered back "SPM". Because apparently some parents raised the issue of certain teachers saying that 212 was the worst class during SPM, and Rehana being the Alert, Observant teacher she was immediately apologized for not knowing. Wow. Kind of like that was the major issue in our class a few months back and she didn't know because she was gone? Gah. (doesn't like Rehana) Yes. So that hod person started talking in a sickeningly honeyed voice about how we shouldn't believe that we're the worst class and all because she checked her statistics and we weren't and how apparently some of us got 80s in our end of year exams last year. And all the while I was getting angrier and angrier because Mrs Mohd had already cleared it with us last term and we're fine now, and they shouldn't bring it up again because it's over and dealt with. And what do they mean by raising it up again? Well it seems to me that they don't really respect Mrs Mohd because they're totally disregarding her and that's not very fair because Mrs Mohd cried in front of us and that really affected us and convinced us I guess, and that type of emotional display isn't to be taken likely. Especially from her.
What was irritating was that She thought she knew everything about us. Like hello? From the way she was talking it was kind of obvious she didn't. Thoughts running through my head: You don't know anything about us. Anything. And. And it's kind of obvious that we are academically the worst class in GEP. There has to be one, yes? We're it. I'm not...bitter about it or anything. It's just a ...fact.
Do I sound like I was fuming mad? Hmm. Let me amend that. I was actually very amused. Very very amused. That hod person stepped into the room wearing a pink dress and a pink sweater and my first thought was 'now where have I heard that description before'. Then she started talking in a high squeaky annoying honeyed voice. Does that ring a bell? Umbridge. >:D It finally did for me just as she was asking some very sombre question (or so I recall) and I snorted kind of audibly. Only slightly, but I happened to be sitting right in front of her. Bad. Snickered a few more times before finally digging my fingernails in hard on my palm to stop laughing. *grins* Like I said, RGS stocks Umbridges! I was just waiting for her to cough 'hem hem' before falling out of my chair laughing. Unfortunately (or fortunately?) she didn't. Sigh. :)

I survived GB Day! :) But that's not exactly what I want to blog about, haha. I think what Ms Leow said was really true...that our drill has improved by A LOT. Last year we still weren't banging together and this year? This year it was one solid together bang. *grins happily* And I do think we looked really impressive...what with the drums and colour party. :):) *is proud* For the first time in my life I actually felt very proud of gb. Go GB! And like Rachel said, suddenly it's very easy to spot the Brigadiers. Haha. I cannot believe Ivan Soh of all the existing cretins I know commented that the uniform looked CUTE. *glares* Nice is one thing, but cute is totally degrading. I either would have like Michelle, sputtered and ran to my table or glared. Very angrily. Anyway. The uniforms looked really smart! :) Haha.
And another thing. To my great delight I have discovered that my stamina has improved vastly from last year. Last year, I was like almost fainting but cannot faint and this year I was just no-I-cannot-laugh-at-Michelle-Wong. Achieved by biting my tongue really hard. Sadly the other Charissa kinda couldn't stand it. :( I was practically shouting GET-UP mentally at her. Ah well. Was 313 somewhere behind me? I think so, judging from the directions the cheers for a 313 person was coming from. And that I saw Sinni out of the corner of my eye, and 312 isn't that far away from 313, is it? Heh.

Tomorrow is GB day.
1) I am going to march right in front of the whole assembly. *cringe*
2) I am not allowed to faint or anything. I shall achieve this by continually thinking about other stuff to keep my brain
going. (it works) Other stuff like my entire mp3 playlist. Wish me luck as I listen to it while I polish my boots now.
Oh, and I have this habit of watching/reading stuff and storing them in my head for later. If for any reason you see
my face during assembly I'll be glassy eyed, because I'll be remembering Matrix Reloaded, Titanic, X-Men and thinking
up my next layout. *afterthought* And Ootp.
3) I have to have super shiny boots. Which is bad, because my boots and kiwi hate me. They never mix.
4) Pray that the colour party will remember not to keluar baris when Rachel says to, because the drums have to start
first.
5) Pray that I will not screw up. (pessimism. say it with me.)
6) Pray that Rachel will be heard. That she will have abnormally huge lungs tomorrow for some reason. (eep)
7) Pray that the drummers (junli and amelia) will keep the rhythm! aaaaah! (pessimism. say it with me.)
8) I will have to wear the uniform the whole day.
9) I am stuck over what to do during PE because by right we're supposed to change out into pe attire for pe and back
again after pe to the uniform when yinghan and i will be sweaty and stinky. But knowing the new teacher he won't
really know that we're supposed to take pe. then again, Ms Leow and Ms Wong specifically told us that we had to
change out for pe. If so, I need to bring a hanger. But it's so mah faaaan! *wails*
10) If I meet any uniform group teacher along the corridor or something I will have to salute. Which might explain me
staying in the toilet/classroom for the whole of recess or something.
11) I have to wake up super super early.
*faints* Hey! I did a blog entry is Cheryl-Seah-style! XD

Thank you Kim for lending me Ootp :) I have come to conclude that after reading it last night (for about 4+ hours in all) it is not as bad as Mingwei makes it out to be XD The start just tends to be kind of draggy, that's all. And I realised that reading too much fanfiction causes your brain to perceive the real book as what's portrayed in the fanfic universe...no wait let me rephrase that. The lines between fanfic and HP are blurring very rapidly for me. *blinks* Never mind.
Anyway, Kim and Denise and I had a very interesting conversation at Macs yesterday after dinner. About Kim's very interesting dreams. I never remember my dreams except for one or two, and by I now only remember about one. *sighs* And Kim's very interesting life too. Shall not elaborate, but I wished my primary school days were as fun-filled and memorable as yours. XP I am still amused by the tales of the GEPA. *grins* I suppose Rosythians were really addicted to catching I guess...running around the Parade Square/Coney Island every recess and lunch break. Haha. Catching was really fun though. Nostalgia nostalgia! *sighs again* Primary school was definitely better than schools. The teachers were really nice to you and the homework and pressure was definitely volumes less than it is now.

New layout, if you haven't noticed. ^-^ Yesterday was quite a good day. Dedication service! If you didn't go you missed a good time :P Quite pleasantly surprised to see so many sec twos (thank you jem for inviting most of them) as compared to the term 2 service. That service only had one sec two-me. Hmm. I need to be less self-conscious and bolder when inviting people. *nods* There were more sec 2s than 3s! *bounce bounce* And about five teachers? Pauline Chia is like officially a dedication service regular, haha. XD She's a nice teacher lah, teaches well and...well...she's nice most of the time. Hah.
Kim then got dragged along by me and Tania too to Toa Payoh Central where we sat at Orange Julius for one hour and chatted. :) Happily realised that we could still remember the Lotr:TTT trailer even though it was so long ago and proceeded to recite it with a few intermissions here and there. Example: 'There will be no dawn of men...no, it's dawn upon men...the something has to hold...oh! it's defences! The defences have to hold...*chirps in crazily ebcause it's Aragorn's line* They will hold. You have the gift of foresight-no wait! That came before the defences have to hold!' Haha. Tania was cringing away, I do believe. XP
Kim and Charissa: *squeal* Aragorn!
kim: I like Gandalf too. Ian McKellen really acts Gandalf.
Tania: But he's old and wrinkly!
Kim: And gay. Gandalf the Gay!
We then proceed with snorting loudly and laughing.
